PlayStation players have another intriguing PS5 exclusive to look forward to in 2025, and it can be wishlisted now on the PS Store. Last week’s confirmation of Where Winds Meet being a timed exclusive got buried beneath Xbox layoffs and more pressing industry news, so players would be forgiven for not noticing this one.
2025 open world RPG Where Winds Meet is a PS5 exclusive for 6 months
Where Winds Meet is an open world wuxia RPG. Originally announced at Gamescom 2022, the Chinese game will be published by NetEase. Players can go through the campaign solo or gather up to four friends to play. There is also a multiplayer mode, with developer Everstone Studios promising to add engaging content including PvP battles.
Where Winds Meet’s latest story trailer confirms that it’ll be available on PS5, PC, and mobile when it launches on 2025. It won’t be available on “other consoles” (read: Xbox Series X|S) for at least six months.
“Set during the turbulent era of tenth-century China, you take on the role of a young sword master, uncovering forgotten truths and the mysteries of your own identity,” an official overview reads. “As the wind stirs across mountains and rivers, so too will your legend rise.”
A release date and price for Where Winds Meet have yet to be announced.
