PS5 Gets Surprise Release of 2021 Switch Exclusive Game

Switch exclusive game on PS5

Following a leak two weeks go, the PS5 port of a 2021 Nintendo Switch console exclusive game was shadow dropped over the weekend. Danganronpa creator’s action adventure puzzle game World’s End Club is now available on the PS Store. Unfortunately, there’s no PS4 version.

Former Switch exclusive action adventure game World’s End Club priced $24.99 on PS5

World’s End Club costs $24.99 / £19.99 / €24.99 on the PS Store. There’s no discount offer for early buyers or PS Plus members.

Developed by Too Kyo Games with Kazutaka Kodaka serving as creative director, World’s End Club tells the story of a group of Tokyo school children, who are part of a club comprised of “oddball kids from all over Japan.”

“Reycho and the other members are somehow different than the other kids around them,” reads an official description. “Then, one day, during the summer while on the bus for their class trip, they get into an accident. When they wake up, they’re in a theme park under the sea. Reycho and the others are trapped inside this strange, long-abandoned place.”

World’s End Club originally launched in 2020 on Apple Arcade followed by a period of Switch console exclusivity. It’s unclear why a PS4 version has not been released.
