Sony is giving those who haven’t already pre-ordered the DualSense Edge a bit of a poke with a new “Design Story” video. This video takes viewers behind the scenes of the design process, with developers providing an insight into the controller’s many features.
DualSense Edge video goes behind the scenes
The behind-the-scenes video shows off various hardware aspects of the DualSense Edge, while also demonstrating in-game how this premium PS5 controller can enhance experiences in titles like God of War Ragnarok and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
In the blog post accompanying the video, SIE Content Communications Manager Tim Turi goes into more detail about the DualSense Edge’s included case, familiar form factor, adjustable trigger length, switchable stick caps, back button versatility, customizable controller profiles, preset profiles for stick sensitivity, and function buttons.
It’s clear from the feature breakdown that this $200 controller is aimed at the true PS5 enthusiast, who can make extensive use of one or more of the pad’s many features. For some, the price will be too steep, but others will no doubt be putting down the cash on day one.
Those tired of waiting for the DualSense Edge to drop may want to check out the TCP Ultimate PS5 controller. Here’s the PSLS review.
