The lack of PS1, PS2, and PSP games in PS Plus Premium classics lineup continues to confuse subscribers. The absence of the promised classics is even worse for PS Plus Deluxe users, who don’t get any classics at all because this tier is designed for countries where cloud streaming isn’t available. Considering PS3 games are only available via cloud streaming, PS Plus Deluxe users get another month with no classics in sight.
Sony leaked a couple of PS Plus Premium classics
Rating board entries and Sony’s own leaks suggest that a number of popular PS Plus Premium and Deluxe classics are on their way, but users just don’t know when they’ll be added to the catalog. Dino Crisis and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny were leaked by Sony, and so was Ridge Racer 2. On the other hand, Syphon Filter 3 was rated for PS5 and PS4 in Korea.
None of the above negates the fact that PS Plus Premium and Deluxe users continue to pay for something that was advertised but they aren’t receiving. ResetEra and Reddit threads are full of complaints, and rightly so. This isn’t the first time this issue has made headlines either, but Sony has neither responded to complaints nor assuaged concerns.
