God of War PC Mods Are Both Creepy and Funny

God of War‘s PC version recently launched without official mod support but Santa Monica Studio wanted players to go ahead and get creative. Well, they asked and players delivered. The modding community is having a blast with God of War. From one-eyed Kratos to a mustachioed Kratos – we’ve seen it all. These mods are creepy and funny at the same time.

Here’s what God of War PC modders have been up to

Twitter user Speclizer displayed some of the best creations. Without further ado, take a look:

Will God of War PC get official mod support?

While the mods above have already caught Santa Monica Studio’s attention, the developer currently doesn’t have any plans to add mod support.

“It’s a fairly complicated process to get our assets from Maya into the game, and so to try to build user-friendly tools to do that – it takes months to train up our own artists to get some of those processes in place – so to try to build a tool that’s going to be intuitive enough for an end-user to be able to do some of that stuff would be quite a bit of work,” senior manager of technical production, Matt DeWald, told Game Informer earlier this month. Cory Barlog didn’t offer much hope either when he reiterated that the development team’s tools are “super custom and inherently complicated.” Nevertheless, the mods are already in full swing.

In other news, Watch Dogs: Legion post-launch support has ended and Dying Light 2 PS5 upgrade is free for PS4 owners.
