Welcome to the weekend, brothers and sisters. I hope that the week has been good to you, and that you'll find an opportunity over the next day or two to settle yourself down with some great games and put aside any stresses you may have encountered over the past seven days.
Myself, I haven't played a whole lot this week, as I was preparing for a hospital visit which some of you may or may not be aware of. A whole lot of grim liquid drinking and long bathroom livin' eventually led to me, miserable, lying on a hospital trolley and watching what appeared to be 1993's Amiga CD-32 (s)hit Microcosm, played out in front of me. It's odd where your mind wanders when under duress. Anyway, it was as fun as it sounds, but at least they'd upscaled the graphics to 4K.
But what about you beautiful people? Are you still kicking around New York with Marvel's Spider-Man? Gonna check out the Soulcalibur VI open beta? There's a huge run of releases on the horizon, closing in fast like an impending storm. So whatever you're playing, you better get it wound up, double-time.
