Some PS Plus Extra/Premium users have expressed their frustration upon realizing that Sony recently removed a game without notice. Published by Take-Two’s Private Division, After Us is a narrative adventure game by Piccolo Studio. It was added to the catalog in June 2024.
PS Plus game After Us removed from catalog at an unknown date
It’s unclear when Sony removed After Us, but we can confirm that it no longer appears in the catalog. The company does have a history of removing games with little to no warnings, but had ceased the practice for a while. After Us is the first instance in six months of a game being removed without notice.
“Pretty annoying if this is gone for good, I wanted to get around to trying this one,” wrote one player. “That’s messed up,” wrote another. “It was definitely in the catalog, but now it’s gone and they never announced it was leaving.”
Those who want to try After Us will either have to fork out $29.99 or await a sale since it’s not currently part of any promotions.
Unfortunately, PS Plus terms & conditions make room for Sony to remove games without a warning, so as annoying as it is, not much we can do about it.
