Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice manga coming to Japan next month

Japanese publisher Kadokawa has announced that the stars of FromSoftware's tough-as-nails adventure title Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice are set to appear in an upcoming manga adaptation, which will release in Japan at the end of next month.

Sekiro Gaiden: Shinazu Hanbei (or Sekiro Side-Story: Hanbei the Undying) will be a prequel tale from artist Shin Yamamoto, previously responsible for the Monster Hunter manga Senkou no Karidou. Details are vague as to Hanbei the Undying's narrative, though it appears to feature an encounter between Hanbei and the Sword Saint, Isshin Ashina. FromSoft will be on-hand to supervise the manga's realisation.
