The great thing about modern hardware is how something that fits in your pocket can now run games that once required 120lbs worth of circuits and plastic to run 25 years ago. Where you'd once crowd around a CRT screen, embedded in a giant wooden cabinet, you can now whip out your console and play as you picnic in the park, or grab some sun at the beach. It's all quite amazing, really.
