The Last of Us Part 2 Abby Model Still Getting Death Threats

The Last of Us 2 Abby face model Jocelyn Mettler is still on the receiving end of death threats and hate mail nearly three years after the game’s release. Over on Twitter, Mettler shared a screenshot of one such email, evidently irritated that trolls just can’t seem to let things go.

The Last of Us 2 Abby voice actress and model have both faced constant harassment

Ever since a major plot point from The Last of Us Part II leaked, both Mettler and Abby voice actress/motion capture artist Laura Bailey have been harassed by trolls who haven’t been able to move past their favorite character’s shocking and brutal murder.

Mettler tweeted that while she isn’t scared of trolls, the years-long harassment campaign is getting pretty annoying, especially since she hasn’t worked with Naughty Dog since 2017.

Bro I have not been on Naughty Dog’s payroll since 2017. I am not their complaint department. I think you forgot a cc on this one, champ.

Considering that The Last of Us HBO TV series will eventually cover the events of The Last of Us Part 2, we can only imagine the kind of vitriol Mettler will inevitably receive.
