Hello folks, welcome to the weekend. Yeah, I get it, no-one knows what day it is. Don't worry sports-fans, as long as you stay tuned to Destructoid, I'll be here to remind you when it's Saturday. I hope you and yours are keeping safe and well. It's undoubtedly tough, at some points utterly frustrating, but we'll all be better for it in the end. Please stay safe.
I've been trying to play a little more than usual, but it's not really working out that way. I did finish up the excellent Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 remaster, then bounced around in Mortal Kombat 11 a little. I've also tried to get back on board with Bloodstained, and have started a whole new adventure for review later this month... Oooooh...
But I think, for many of you, there will only be one game dominating this holiday weekend. I am, of course, talking about Final Fantasy VII Remake which made its long-awaited debut just yesterday (and earlier for a lucky few). Still, that's not necessarily everyone's cup of tea, so whatever you're playing this week/weekend, share you experiences with us below.
