Welcome to the final weekend of October. You know what that means? That's right, my birthday is right around the corner. Also, (and a little less selfishly), we're heading into November, and marketing's busiest season, as publishers push out their final wares and prep for financially prosperous events such as Black Friday and the Holidays.
None of that shit should matter to you right now, though. You should be chilling out with good company, good food, good games, or all three. 'Tis the weekend after all. I haven't played a whole lot this week, though I did put some time into Rainbow Six Siege's "Doktor's Curse" event. This is a twisted game of Hide and Seek that has been designed in such a way that makes the monsters feel like the vulnerable, besieged party. Hmmm... That doesn't really work, but it's still a fun mode, and has at least given birth to "Demon Frost", who will be forever haunting my teammates from now on.
