The first PS Plus Extra November 2025 game has leaked, and it’s already massively disappointed some users. Frankly, we can see why. Not long after Rockstar Games announced another Grand Theft Auto VI release date delay, a reliable leaker revealed that GTA V is returning to the Extra catalog this month.
GTA V has been in and out of the PS Plus Extra catalog multiple times, so its inclusion in November’s lineup — confirmed by none other than Dealabs user billbil-kun — has come as a huge disappointment to users. At least that’s what it looks like gauging responses to the leak.
Many are hoping that GTA V doesn’t end up being the headliner for November.
“Waste of a slot; everybody and their grandma has played GTA V,” one user wrote on Reddit. “A game spot already wasted. Who tf wants GTA V anymore,” a fellow user concurred.
Although we understand the disappointment, GTA V continues to dominate sales charts and remains one of the most popular games on PS5 and PS4, so we can understand why Sony keeps bringing it back. That said, we too hope that GTA V doesn’t end up being the November headliner as compensation for a lackluster catalog refresh heading into the holiday season.
Like all leaks, take this with a grain of salt until official confirmation. But billbil-kun has a stellar record so keep those expectations in check.

A controversial PS5, PS4 game has been removed from the PS Store after turning heads because of its content. Sony’s online storefront is no stranger to shovelware (now commonly referred to as “AI slop”) and scams, but OF Model Simulator was a little too egregious even for seasoned PS Store users.
We don’t think this needs an explanation, but for those who really aren’t aware, OF refers to OnlyFans — a subscription service popular for pornography and sexually explicit material. OF Model Simulator allowed players to play a pretend OF model.
“Your journey begins as an ordinary girl with big dreams of fortune and fame,” a description reads. “In OF Model Simulator, you’ll experience the thrill, challenges, and temptations of becoming a top web model on the world’s most talked-about private platform.”
There are quite a few gameplay videos on the web for those who are curious.
Dozens of threads popped up on gaming forums questioning Sony’s promised “improvements” to the PS Store and the continued lack of moderation. But as spotted by PSNProfiles users, OF Model Simulator is no longer purchasable on the PS Store. It was quietly nuked sometime over the last few days.
That said, a brand-new scam has just hit the PS Store, and it’s already managed to con players out of their money. A fake version of the popular PC game Megabonk landed on the PS Store under the title Megabonk Smash. The imitation is still available for purchase at the time of this writing.
One step forward, two steps backwards!

Sony rolled out the highly anticipated PS Portal update 6.0.0 last night, the highlight of which was direct cloud streaming of purchased games, allowing users to completely bypass the PS5. However, a few smaller, but much welcome, features were quietly slipped into the update that Sony didn’t mention on the PS Blog.
The PS Portal now allows users to view other players’ PlayStation Network profiles, which is especially handy for those who will be using the handheld for multiplayer gaming. Additionally, players can now open the quick menu on most screens, which wasn’t possible before.
In an effort to improve the PS Portal experience further, Sony has added a feedback system on the handheld that allows users to send feedback directly from the device. Last but not least, no Sony update is complete without system stability, and improved messages and usability. We don’t know what this specifically means, but we’ll find out soon enough.
Complete patch notes for PS Portal system update 6.0.0 are as follows:

The post Here’s Why A PS5 Leak Has Everyone Talking About Sony’s PC Plans appeared first on Kotaku.

A dataminer has discovered a never-before-seen icon on PS5 that suggests Sony is planning a much-welcome, pro-consumer PS Store update. The icon in question was recently added to the backend and indicates that Sony will offer cross-buy for its multiplatform games.
X user yAmethxst tweeted their findings, uncovering several new icons on PS5 that will presumably be added to the PS Store soon. We are certain that this cross-buy icon has nothing to do with PS4/PS5 cross-buy since the last-gen console is on its way out and is barely receiving new games.
That leaves us with two options: PS5/PC cross-buy or, as some have speculated, cross-buy between PS5 and an upcoming device.
Most folks are leaning towards PS5 and PC cross-buy since PS6 is still a few years away, and we don’t think the rumored PlayStation handheld will be out anytime soon, either.
I didn't think this and @Zuby_Tech's post would go viral, so:
— Amethxst (@yAmethxst) November 4, 2025
– The screen is real (see video below)
– The symbols are present on PS5 (not PS4)
– The symbols are official Sony 'fonts' (uf-code: EF5B to EF61)

For those wondering, the leaf symbol now appears next to games with the new Power Saver feature, so it’s already live on the PS Store.
Some folks think the PS5/PC symbol is new, but a variant of this icon is already in use on PlayStation.com for games that are available on PS5 and PC, so we don’t think there’s anything more to this one.
