Undertale Creator Releases New Game (Maybe?)

Is Deltarune a prequel to Undertale? A sequel? A survey for the sequel? We won’t know until we play through the whole thing, but the new game from Undertale designer Toby Fox promises to be just as bizarre and trippy as the last one. (Plus, it’s an anagram.)

Mario Party is seemingly back on track as Nintendo notes 'extremely strong start' for Switch iteration

I felt like Super Mario Party finally got the series back on track and it seems as if I wasn't alone. In their six month financial briefing for the fiscal year ending in March 2019 this week, Nintendo noted that they were happy with the Switch launch of Super so far, backed by the "play anywhere" concept of the system.

Calling it an "evergreen title," Nintendo says the globally the game has sold through 1.5 million units since October 5, which they call an "extremely strong start compared to other installments." Nintendo expects it to "build momentum" into the holiday season and even attributes extra Joy-Con sales to it (if this was the expectation, it explains why the game required them even though Pro Controllers would have worked).

Here's to more: I'd love to see this series become a household staple again, and the individual character dice concept injected some much-needed strategy into the mix.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's new update finally nerfs pesky armour

Treyarch has dropped a major update on Activision's latest million-dollar shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The new patch, which is already live in-game, makes various adjustments to the roster, mechanics, and even the audio of the multiplayer epic.

First and foremost, Armour - which many players have been complaining about as far back as the first Beta - has been nerfed in both Blackout and standard Multiplayer. Now, areas that have increased damage hitboxes, such as the chest and head, will not be as protected as they have been previously, preventing perfect sniper headshots leading to the target running around like they took a mosquito bite.

Speaking of weaponry, SMGs have taken a damage buff whilst Assault Rifles have been nerfed, to bring both weapons into closer alignment with each other in close-quarters combat. Specialist gear, for example Ajax' Ballistic Shield, has also seen respective balance adjustments.

Sound has also been redesigned. Now, like a lot of multiplayer shooters, enemy footsteps are louder than your teammates, hopefully removing the nedd to spin your head because you're being stalked, only to find it's actually your best buddy xX420UmadbroXX. If you want to check out the full, detailed list of changes, then visit the official Reddit page right here.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available now on PS4, PC and Xbox One.

Persona Q2 highlights pretty-boy doofus Yosuke Kanamura

Atlus has dropped their 30th (30th!) character trailer for upcoming 3DS sequel Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth. The new video brings us the likeable, but somewhat dopey, Yosuke Kanamura.

Starring in Persona 4, Yosuke is a friendly and attractive young man who transfers into Yasogani High from out of town. Yosuke carries him with the flash and style of a hip ladies' man, but is more of a goofball, clumsy in nature despite his well-meaning personality.Yosuke is rarely seen without his trademark headphones.

Quite a mammoth roster is building for Persona Q2, which will see teams of characters take on enemies and bosses in dungeons based on cinema genres. There's a lot of characters on offer, who makes your home team? Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth launches in Japan, on Nintendo 3DS, November 29.
