The Mission: Impossible film series is, unlike most Hollywood franchises, built less around lore and callbacks and more around recurring moments we expect each time we sit down in our seats to watch the latest entry. I expect to see people in lifelike masks, some twists, some turns, a few dangerous stunts, a car or…
A PS Plus Extra, Premium day-one game that released in April is getting its final content update soon, its developer has announced. Dogubomb’s Blue Prince received universal acclaim upon launch, but its solo developer Tonda Ros says he never planned to “continually tinker with the game.”
PS Plus game Blue Prince will get its definitive version with update 1.10
In a post on Steam, Ros said that Blue Prince is his first game and he’s proud of what he’s achieved, but there are “a few minor things that were not quite completed” before the game’s launch, which will be included in the final content update 1.10 — the game’s definitive version.
Here’s an overview of what’s coming in Blue Prince’s final update, per Ros:
An overhyped arcade game
A curious house cat
Accessibility features including color assist mode, controls remapping, cursor size/opacity settings, and widescreen support
UI/UX improvements
More variations for end-of-day manor descriptions and accompanying house illustrations
HUD display customization
Final room/item balancing
Handful of extra cinematics
As for when update 1.10 will launch, Ros didn’t give a release date but did suggest that it’ll take a few months. “We will continue to release bug-fixing patches intermittently in the months leading up to 1.10 and some of these updates may preemptively roll out some of the above-mentioned features,” he wrote.
Ros also pledged to continue fixing Blue Prince’s bugs “far, far into the future.”
GeoGuessr will not be one of the games participating in Saudi Arabia’s Esports World Cup this year, after criticisms of sportswashing and the country’s poor human rights record. Developer Mercury Steam is perhaps best known for 2010’s Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and, more recently, Metroid Dread. The studio’s newest game, Blades of Fire, is a tough action-adventure RPG with Soulslike elements and a surprisingly in-depth weapon-forging mini-game.
We all know there is no Mission: Impossible without Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) ultimately saving the world from a nuclear disaster, a bombing, or anything some nutcase came up with that day. He is the central figure, one whom an entire universe revolves around. But, it would be a shame if you watched years of Mission:…

The Last of Us Part 2 packs a lot of amazing details into the game, but a recent discovery has left players’ minds blown. Over the weekend, a viral thread on X revealed an in-game animation that shows how Dina handles her pregnancy around Ellie.
The Last of Us 2 game details still surprising players 5 years later
As shared by X user V4LKILLS, in one scene, Dina can be seen rubbing her pregnant belly when Ellie is turned away and isn’t looking at her. As soon as the player turns Ellie around to look at Dina, she stops touching her stomach.
From the looks of it, a lot of players missed this detail (us included). One player also pointed out an impressive Abby animation that shows how much she’s scared of heights. Although this detail didn’t no unnoticed before, players will find that when they look down from an elevated place while playing as Abby, she changes her posture to reflect her fear.
The Last of Us Part II released five years ago so the discovery of Dina’s animation is pretty impressive and speaks to Naughty Dog‘s quality of work.
Did our readers notice this detail before? Let us know your thoughts on HBO’s take on Dina’s pregnancy in the TV show.
Sony doesn’t have a whole lot of PS5 first-party games due out in 2025, and one of them is already in trouble, according to a new report. Following its admission that Marathon features stolen art, Bungie is reportedly struggling with low employee morale and internal concerns about launching the game in September.
Marathon is among the few PS5 first-party games due out in 2025
Forbes has spoken to sources familiar with goings-on at Bungie, and has been told that the studio is undertaking an extensive audit to remove stolen art from Marathon that — as we reported last week — Bungie blames an ex employee for.
“The vibes have never been worse” at Bungie, it has been said, with sources adding that morale is in “free-fall” mode. There are also concerns about how Marathon was received following its reveal and closed alpha, and with this new plagiarism debacle, devs are concerned about releasing the game in a “now actively hostile environment.”
It doesn’t help that things turned sour at a recent Marathon livestream. What was supposed to be a gameplay showcase ended up turning into an apology delivered by a visibly distraught Joe Cross, who is Marathon’s art director. The livestream’s chat was flooded with comments about plagiarism.
As for a delay, Forbes claims that there’s no internal chatter about a potential delay at Bungie. However, given the state of things, it’s a possibility.
Look, y’all, I try to start these recaps with lighthearted jokes and gags that all of us, both lovers and haters of The Last of Us season two, can enjoy, to set a welcoming and pleasant tone before I start unleashing my critiques of a given episode. However, I don’t think I have it in me this week. I’ve been dreading…

TikTok is in an exceptionally tough spot these days. This week, it was reported that in a strange turn of events, Nintendo may not be sending out Switch 2 units to would-be reviewers before launch, which could result in a dearth of coverage at a time when you’d expect to see impressions and reviews of the console plastered across every gaming site and YouTube channel.…
A legendary shooter has been discounted by 60% for the PS5 and PS4 in a limited-time PS Store deal that ends in a week. Id Software’s 1997 classic Quake II is just $3.99 until the sale ends on May 22.
Quake II PS Store deal saves players $6
If you’re craving an id Software classic after Doom: The Dark Ages, Quake II is a no-brainer. The modern version comes with both online and local multiplayer as well as co-op alongside one of the most popular single-player shooter campaigns of the 90s.
Quake II mostly retains its original aesthetic, but with support for 4K, widescreen resolution, improved animations and AI, enhanced cinematics, improved lighting, and much more. The package also includes the all-new “Call of the Machine” expansion.
“Mankind is at war with the Strogg, a hostile alien race that attacked Earth,” reads Quake II’s synopsis. “In response, humanity launched a strike on the Strogg homeworld…it failed, but you survived.”
A Quake 1 & 2 bundle is also available, but unfortunately, isn’t discounted at the time of this writing. Quake 1 is currently full price as well.
PS Plus Premium subscribers can stream Quake II. Trophy hunters will be pleased to note that the game comes with a quick and easy Platinum trophy.
Sony Interactive Entertainment developer Bungie is under fire for plagiarism once again — this time, in upcoming shooter Marathon. An artist took to X to complain that their work from 2017 was simply taken without credit, with some images even carrying their portfolio title “Antireal.”
Bungie admits Marathon art plagiarism, blames former employee
The artist, who goes as 4nt1r34l (Antireal), claims that several Bungie employees including Marathon’s lead developer have been following them on X for years, which hasn’t gone down well with players. X users jumped into action and uncovered some pretty blatant examples of Marathon using Antireal’s work, prompting Bungie to respond.
That response, however, has left players angrier. Using a Marathon dev team X account with significantly fewer followers than the game’s or Bungie’s official account, the studio admitted that the artist’s work was used without permission, but blamed a former employee for it.
Many accused Bungie of purposely using the dev team account to release its statement for lower visibility, especially since this isn’t the first time the company has been caught plagiarizing.
Back in September 2024, Bungie “resolved” a dispute with an artist whose design was used without permission for a physical Nerf LMTD blaster based upon Cayde-6’s hand cannon, Ace of Spades. Then, too, Bungie claimed to be “investigating” how the issue occurred with a “partner.”
Whether you just finished binge-watching the entire Underworld franchise, dove into some classic vampiric lore such as Carmilla, or just want your fifteenth playthrough of Oblivion to feel slightly different, vampirism is always an option. It’s not the best option. But it’s an option!

A 2019 PS4 action shooter has been quietly pulled from the PS Store. Developed by High Voltage Software, Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip was delisted sometime last week. The top-down twin-stick shooter was based on the 2019 movie of the same name.
PS4 shooter Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip’s PS Store delisting leaves players confused
Zombieland: Double Tap – Road Trip’s delisting is a bit puzzling because the Zombieland IP is owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment. The only “warning” we found was on the game’s Steam page, which states, “This game and any related DLCs and bundles will be removed from sale on May 9, 2025.”
Double Tap – Road Trip is no longer available on the console store or the PS App, but a PS Store webpage for the game is still up in “announced” state. We’re pretty sure the game isn’t coming back, though.
High Voltage Software has some bangers in its portfolio, but unfortunately, Double Tap – Road Trip was a huge miss. It currently holds a Metacritic average of 39 percent.
The game’s delisting makes us wonder how long PSVR2 game Zombieland: Headshot Fever Reloaded will remain on the PS Store. The VR game released in 2023 to positive reviews and holds a user rating of 4.27/5 on PSN.
We advise picking up Headshot Fever Reloaded sooner rather than later if you’re interested in the title.
All eyes have been on Sony to see if it follows in Microsoft’s footsteps and, in response to increased U.S. tariffs, dramatically raises the price of the PlayStation 5 . The company confirmed to investors on Wednesday that it might end up doing exactly that as it faces a potential $680 million hole in its bottom line…
An underrated PS4 gem has just received a free PS5 remaster for existing owners. Frogwares’ Lovecraftian action adventure game The Sinking City has received a significant overhaul, and comes with bells and whistles like 4K textures.
The Sinking City PS5 remaster is free for existing owners, discounted for everyone else
The Unreal Engine 5 remaster comes with the following upgrades:
Lumen Global Illumination and ray tracing
4K textures and extra environmental details
Performance (prioritizes frame rate) and Quality (prioritizes visual fidelity) modes
Photo mode
Improvements to controls, combat, game balance, crowds, and tutorials
Those who didn’t already own The Sinking City on PS4 have until May 22 to avail a 50% discount offer on the PS Store. The remaster will be available for $24.99 until then, after which it’ll cost $49.99.
PS Plus Premium users can stream The Sinking City Remastered.
“The Sinking City is an adventure and investigation game set in an open world inspired by the universe of H.P. Lovecraft, the master of Horror,” says Frogwares. “The half-submerged city of Oakmont is gripped by supernatural forces. You’re a private investigator, and you have to uncover the truth of what has possessed the city… and the minds of its inhabitants.”
For those wondering, the PS4 version and PS5 remaster are currently the same price, so there’s no benefit to buying the last-gen version and then upgrading.

Another PS4 game is set to shut down this year, with a free PS5 upgrade offered to existing owners. Multiplayer survival game Rust will be going offline on last-gen consoles, including Xbox One, four years after launch as its current-gen version is released on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S this summer. The PC version remains unaffected.
Rust owners will get free PS5 upgrade but the game will be pulled from PS4
Developer Double Eleven has said that Rust won’t be playable on both current and last-gen consoles simultaneously, choosing instead to focus its attention on the PS5 version. PS4 players can claim the free PS5 upgrade whether they own a current-gen console or not, but won’t be able to continue playing as it is.
Rust PS5 will be available in standard, deluxe, and ultimate editions. Prices and release date will be announced in due course along with upgrade options.
As for when Rust will go offline on PS4, Double Eleven has said that support will end in late October. “To mark the occasion, we are planning something special: the ‘Wipe of Wipes,’ a memorable send-off to celebrate the legacy of old-gen,” the studio wrote.
Rust is currently full-priced on PS Store. We’ll update our readers if it goes on sale.

Reports have emerged that the next major Microsoft published game on PS5 won’t have the full game on disc, leaving players concerned. Following its acquisition, Bethesda has been putting game keys on physical discs in line with Microsoft’s policy, and it looks like Doom: The Dark Ages is getting the same treatment.
Microsoft putting game keys on PS5 discs irks players
Some players have managed to get their hands on Doom: The Dark Ages ahead of release, confirming that the Xbox disc only carries game keys. There are some conflicting reports about the PS5 disc, but as pointed out by X user DoesItPlay, the cover states that an internet connection is required to play. Doom: The Dark Ages is single-player only.
A similar label was also slapped onto Indiana Jones discs, which didn’t contain the full game on PS5.
DoesItPlay claims that some early PS5 players have reported that they’re locked out of playing Doom: The Dark Ages without an internet connection, and screenshots circulating on ResetEra support that claim as they purportedly show that the game requires a download.
DoesItPlay reached out to Bethesda but didn’t receive a response.
If you’re worried that you’ll be buying a coaster, we advise waiting for release on May 15 to ascertain whether the full game is on disc or not.
Doom as a franchise has evolved a lot over the decades since it first arrived in the ‘90s. But through all those changes, there remain a few things I need in a Doom game to feel satisfied with it. A Doom game checklist, if you will. It’s not long, but it does make up the core of Doom.
John Cena vs. Randy Orton isn’t just a rivalry. It is the rivalry of a generation, and it will be rekindled again—perhaps for the final time—at WWE Backlash.
A new PS Plus Essential monthly game is wiping out players’ save data — a long-running problem that hasn’t been addressed. Ark: Survival Ascended, which we recently lauded for supporting the now-rare local splitscreen co-op feature, also suffers from numerous performance issues.
PS Plus game Ark: Survival Ascended doesn’t play well on PS5, players complain
The issue of Survival Ascended scrubbing chunks of single-player save data was brought to light by a PS Plus user, but it certainly isn’t new — we just assumed that Studio Wildcard would have fixed it by now.
It’s unclear what’s triggering the problem for some players. Survival Ascended is currently in early access. The game launched in 2023 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC as a remaster of 2015 game Survival Evolved, which also released on PS Plus at one point.
“Genuinely stay away from this game,” one player cautioned. Another complained, “I played Ark on my PS5 for about half an hour. Afterwards my PS5 screen started flickering, even outside the game. This has never happened in over three years of owning the console. Never again.”
We advise our readers to manually back up their save data onto the Cloud. It’s a safer bet than relying on automatic updates.
Sony has announced a new limited-edition PS5 DualSense controller to celebrate the release of a highly-anticipated exclusive. In partnership with Kojima Productions, the Death Stranding 2: On the Beach themed controller features the insignia and motto of Drawbridge.
Death Stranding 2 PS5 DualSense controller release date and preorder details
The Death Stranding 2 controller won’t come in the pricey DualSense Edge variant. It’ll be available for $84.99 / €84.99 / £74.99 / ¥12,480 via PlayStation Direct and participating retailers.
Preorders will go live on May 22 at 10 a.m. local time on both PS Direct and at participating retailers with a launch date of June 26 — the same day that Death Stranding 2 is scheduled for release. However, Sony has said that its release date and availability may vary by region.
PS Direct preorders are available in the following countries: U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
“The new controller launches alongside Death Stranding 2, where players can join Sam and his companions on a mission to save humanity from extinction,” Sony wrote.
Speaking of Death Stranding 2, a handful of previews went live this morning, and early impressions have been positive. A hands-on report is also available on PS Blog.
We’ll give our readers a heads up when preorders for the controller are about to go live.
PS5, PS4 players have two more days to grab an award-winning hit RPG at 60% off in the ongoing PS Store sale. Bethesda’s fan-favorite Fallout 4 — which has a native PS5 port — is just $7.99. All of the game’s DLC is also discounted.
Fallout 4 PS Store sale ends on May 8
PS4 players should note that if they purchase Fallout 4, they automatically get free access to the native PS5 port should they want to upgrade their hardware in the future. The game is currently part of PS Plus Extra, but players will lose access to it whenever it leaves the catalog.
PS Plus Premium members can stream Fallout 4 from the PS5’s library at no additional cost.
New PS Plus Essential May 2025 monthly game comes packed with features that make it an excellent addition to the lineup. Studio Wildcard’s Ark: Survival Ascended — a remaster of past PS Plus game Survival Evolved — most notably comes with local splitscreen co-op for two players.
PS Plus game Ark: Survival Ascended supports cross-platform mods alongside local co-op
Local coop isn’t exactly a common feature in games today, so we were pleasantly surprised to see it in Ark: Survival Ascended. If you want to play online with your friends, then there’s more good news: the game supports private multiplayer for up to eight players.
No friends? No problem. There’s cross-platform online multiplayer that supports up to 70 players, and with Survival Ascended joining PS Plus, you won’t have an issue finding players to team up with, if playing solo isn’t your thing.
Speaking of playing solo, Survival Ascended features cross-platform modding. Players can download and play custom content created by other players, including maps, creatures, and game modes. All players have to do is head over to the community mod collection within Survival Ascended.
Today’s PS Plus Essential additions also include the universally praised Balatro and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. The lineup is already live in most regions.
Gears of War: Reloaded will be PS5 Pro enhanced when it releases this August, and won’t require PS5 players to link a Microsoft account, it has been confirmed. Yesterday’s announcement of Xbox’s most iconic franchise coming to PlayStation took the internet by storm, and there’s only more good news for those awaiting the game on PS5.
Gears of War: Reloaded was expected on PS5, but the announcement still took fans by surprise
Microsoft has said that Gears of War: Reloaded will allow two-player co-op, versus multiplayer with up to eight people, and full cross-play without the need for a Microsoft account. However, linking an account “unlocks full cross-platform functionality.”
Cross-platform functionality that requires a Microsoft account includes cross-progression across all compatible devices, and the ability to send invites to friends on other platforms.
Microsoft didn’t reveal any PS5 Pro enhancements yesterday, but a PS Store listing for Gears of War: Reloaded states that the game will be enhanced for Sony’s pricey hardware. What has been confirmed so far is 4K resolution and support for up to 120 frames-per-second.
“Experience the origins of one of gaming’s most acclaimed franchises like never before,” reads Gears of War: Reloaded’s PS Store page. “This is the definitive way to experience the game that started it all.”
Two of the upcoming PlayStation Days of Play 2025 PS5 deals may just have been leaked by a known insider. Despite its acquisition by Microsoft, Activision seems to be teaming up with Sony yet again to bring Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 PS5 console bundles. And for a reasonable price, too.
Full list of PlayStation Days of Play 2025 Deals expected soon
This leak comes from trusty Dealabs user billbil-kun, so rest assured, these deals are all but confirmed. However, billbil-kun is only speculating that we’ll see these deals during Days of Play 2025, which is just around the corner, as we reported last weekend. There’s also a possibility that the bundles’ release will coincide with Black Ops 6 Season 4.
As for what the bundles entail, billbil-kun reports that the PS5 Slim disc drive bundle with a download code for Black Ops 6 will cost $449.99, and the digital edition with game code will cost $399.99.
These bundles are nothing to scoff at considering recent price hikes seen across the games industry. Those who are considering buying a PS5 should consider buying a console soon as Sony isn’t immune from economic challenges or Trump tariffs.
Days of Play 2025 is expected to kick off by the end of May.
A new Call of Duty 2025 report by a reliable insider has players lashing out at Microsoft for being “greedy.” Rumor has it that Activision and Microsoft plan to lock certain limited-time game modes (LTMs) behind a Battle Pass. Currently, everyone can play LTMs for free.
Call of Duty 2025, rumored to be Black Ops 7, might be the most expensive CoD to date
The rumor comes to us from Call of Duty insider TheGhostOfHope, who has a pretty good track record when it comes to COD leaks. This year’s COD is reportedly Black Ops 7 in development at Treyarch.
However, monetization decisions are made by the publisher, and following its acquisition by Microsoft, any decision made by Activision would need to have the blessing of its new parent.
“Black Ops 7 will reportedly have more seasonal LTMs and some of them would be considered ‘higher value’ with unique rewards and different game mechanics/modes,” wrote TheGhostofHope. “BUT, the only way to play the LTMs will be to have the Battle Pass unlike how it’s currently free for everyone.”
TheGhostofHope further claimed that higher tier skins, loot, and crossover operators for LTMs will only be accessible to Battle Pass owners. If true, this year’s entry might be the most expensive Call of Duty game to date for those who want to experience all the content.
Players are understandably upset. “Microsoft buying Activision was truly one of the worst things to ever happen to gaming,” a fan wrote on Reddit. “What a surprise,” another one wrote on ResetEra. “Microsoft messes up another IP and directs it towards death because of a focus on monetization.”
As usual, take all rumors with a grain of salt until official confirmation.
A bundle of two acclaimed (and somewhat controversial) action games is just $3.99 for PS Plus members in the latest PS Store sale. Developed by Dennaton Games and published by Devolver Digital, the Hotline Miami Collection is 80% off with cross-buy. Those who aren’t PS Plus members can snag the deal for $4.99.
Hotline Miami Collection PS Store sale offer is cross-buy between PS4/5, PS3, and even PS Vita!
2012’s Hotline Miami and 2015’s Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number are widely regarded as two of the best indie games published by Devolver Digital. However, the sequel ruffled some feathers due to a sexual assault scene, which led to controversy and refusal of classification in Australia.
Nevertheless, both games were well received by players and have sold millions of copies. $3.99-$4.99 is an excellent price for the pair.
“Hotline Miami is a high-octane action game overflowing with raw brutality, hard-boiled gunplay and skull crushing close combat,” reads an official description. “Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is the brutal conclusion to the Hotline Miami saga, set against a backdrop of escalating violence and retribution over spilled blood in the original game.”
Those who buy Hotline Miami Collection can play both games on the PS3, PS Vita, PS4, and PS5 (via backwards compatibility). The PS Store deal will end on May 8.
Players are reminded that two of the six (so far) PS5, PS4 multiplayer games shutting down in 2025 will close their doors soon. Both Dauntless and MultiVersus — the closures of which somewhat surprised players — are preparing to bid adieu this month.
PS5, PS4 multiplayer games MultiVersus and Dauntless will shut servers by the end of May 2025
Monster Hunter-like role-playing game Dauntless is scheduled to go offline on May 29. On May 30, MultiVersus will be taken offline but those who own the game can play it offline following this date.
Dauntless developer Phoenix Labs has practically been gutted. The studio, founded by former Riot Games developers, was founded 11 years ago during which time it released Dauntless and farm sim, Fae Farm.
News of MultiVersus’ closure back in February was met with intense backlash due to unfulfilled developer promises that came with $100 Founder’s Packs. Despite being offline for an entire year following a successful beta, MultiVersus returned in May 2024 with incomplete and missing features, and no visible improvements.
The full list of PS4 and PS5 games being sunset in 2025 so far is as follows:
xDefiant
Dauntless
MultiVersus
Resident Evil Re:Verse

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Battle Chronicle
A 2018 PS4 multiplayer game is shutting down, as unceremoniously revealed by a developer notice that was quietly slipped into its PS Store page. Originally an Obsidian Entertainment project, vehicular combat game Armored Warfare will be pulled from service soon, more than seven years after its launch.
PS4 multiplayer game Armored Warfare will shut down in July 2025
“Attention: the game will be closed on July 30,” reads a note on Armored Warfare’s PS Store page. The game is also available on Xbox One and PC.
None of Armored Warfare’s expensive virtual currency and add-on packs have been delisted from the PS Store, which is a common practice when a game is about to be shut down. Interestingly, it doesn’t look like publisher My.Games has made a formal announcement of server closure.
We’ve done a little bit of digging around, and the only shutdown notice we have spotted so far is the one on Armored Warfare’s PS Store listing. PS4 players are warned that if they end up spending money on any of the content packs, they’re unlikely to be able to receive a refund.
It’s unclear if Armored Warfare’s PC version is being shut down or not as it has a different publisher.
Well, y’all, this week I decided to give The Last of Us showrunner Craig Mazin a break. I’ve been pretty harsh toward the show’s second season for fundamentally misunderstanding so many of the bold creative decisions of the game on which it’s based. This week’s episode, however, was the best—or at least the least…
Players who are reeling from recent price hikes or simply looking for great deals should prepare for the annual PlayStation Days of Play 2025 sales and community event. Sony’s biggest promotion of the year will kick off within a few weeks at the earliest, bringing discounts on video games, hardware, accessories, and hopefully, PS Plus.
When is PlayStation Days of Play 2025 sales event expected to start?
Days of Play, which first kicked off in 2017, always starts towards the end of May or early June. Last year’s event kicked off on May 29, but previous years has seen Days of Play go live a little sooner than that.
Based on the aforementioned pattern, the earliest we expect Days of Play 2025 to start is in the week beginning May 26.
Sony’s official Days of Play website is already being updated in the back end. Running a Google search for the event brings up an official webpage titled “Days of Play 2025 | Incredible deals on PS5 games…” but clicking through leads to last year’s end-of-promotion message, thanking fans for taking part in the event.
As for what players can expect, a massive PS Store sale is pretty much guaranteed, and in line with previous years, we expect discounts on PS5 hardware and accessories. Past Days of Play events have included discounts on PS Plus as well, and we don’t see a reason why the subscription would be excluded from the promotion this time.

A once highly-anticipated PS5 game has been quietly delayed out of its release window, and players are only just starting to notice. BioShock creator Ken Levine’s Judas was supposed to be out by now, but there’s been no word from developer Ghost Story Games or publisher Take-Two Interactive.
Judas was supposed to release on PS5 by March 2025, but was delayed without notice
Back in February 2023, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said that Judas — which was conceptualized more than a decade ago in 2014 — will release by March 2025, at the latest. Zelnick seemed confident about this release window when quizzed about it by IGN at the time, and stated that while delays can happen, Take-Two’s schedule is expected to remain stable.
A year prior to Judas receiving a March 2025 release window, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier had reported that the game was in development hell, with sources blaming Levine’s leadership style for developer burnout.
Given Schreier’s report and the fact that we’ve barely seen or head anything about Judas, we can’t help but wonder if the game will ever see the light of day.
