Warframe's Titania Prime has me asking 'Where's the art book?'

Seven years on and the artists and developers at Digital Extremes continue to create some of the most beautiful sci-fi art you can find in gaming. The Warframes they create are immaculate. Case in point: Titania Prime. Available now on all platforms, Titania Prime is the ultimate form of the original Titania that launched back in 2016 alongside the "Silver Grove" update.

Titania Prime is currently available as part of Prime Access and she doesn't come cheap. But come on, just look at that design:

Doom Eternal third-person camera unlocked by modders

When you think of Doom, whichever the generation, you immediately picture that classic first-person perspective, gun barrel (or chainsaw) sat center screen, head bobbing up and down, as you plough your way through the armies of hell. But let me just blow your mind for a moment with two words:

Third Person.

Boom! right?.. Well, perhaps not. In fact many would probably consider such a suggestion tantamount to heresy. But for those of you curious as to how id Software's apocalyptic shooter would play in such a mode, it seems that modders have you covered.

The Fearless Cheat Engine community has discovered a third-person camera hidden within the code of the recent Doom Eternal which, upon activation, allows players to Rip and Tear from a whole new perspective. You can see a video of the mod in action below, courtesy of Gameplay Store. It's pretty wild, and frankly a bit dizzying, but it gives those up-close-and-personal executions a whole new level of gory glory.

Riot Games is rolling out the Valorant closed beta on April 7

Riot Games is giving select players a chance to try Valorant, its upcoming five-vs.-five tactical shooter, on April 7, 2020. The developer is launching the "first wave" of closed beta access in the United States, Canada, Europe, Turkey, Russia, and CIS countries, with more regional support planned "if possible."

It's not quite as simple as signing up for the beta and hoping for an email to hit your inbox.

Let's run through the hurdles. First, you'll need to create a Riot account and link it to a Twitch account if you haven't done so already. Then, when the time comes, you'll need to "watch specific Valorant closed beta streams highlighted on Twitch" and hope you're one of the lucky viewers who's given access.

The Valorant closed beta launches at 6:00 a.m. Pacific on April 7. Riot wants to keep the beta "as short as we can while getting additional regions online," but "a lot of unexpected feedback from players" could slow down the timeline. It's also worth noting that player progress won't carry into the full game.

More housekeeping: "At full launch, we will give you all of your [closed beta] Valorant Points back, with an additional 20% bonus as a thanks for engaging with our work-in-progress skins and store."

Valorant speaks to me more than the other new Riot offshoots, but it's also not necessarily something I'm in a rush to play as far as the closed beta is concerned. I'm interested to see how it all shakes out.

The game's release is scheduled for "summer 2020," but nothing is set in stone in our current reality.

It appears that Granblue Fantasy: Versus DLC character Djeeta will be making her way to the roster very soon, according to a recently leaked trailer from Arc System Works, which you can check out right here.

Djeeta is essentially the female player avatar in the original Granblue Fantasy title - her male counterpart being Gran, who is already on the roster. Although they are essentially character swaps in their origin games, Granblue Fantasy: Versus will see Djeeta have an entirely different moveset to Gran, making her "a capable captain in her own right".
